Global Media's primary state-of-the-art Internet Data Center (IDC) is located
in Dallas Texas. The Data Center provides the region's customers with carrier-class
data services and co-location facilities, while enhancing the speed and security
of katzglobal.com's network.
Built
from the ground-up, the new IDC utilizes an OC3 fiber
optic network, and is located on a SONET ring that provides
70 milisecond round trip access. Phase I comprises of
2,000 (10,000 total) square feet of co-location, managed
Web IT and network operations facilities, key features
of the IDC include:

Multiple, redundant optic connections provided by independent carriers.
• Fully redundant power and generator on the premises.
• Multiple zone HVAC control systems
• 24 x 7 staffing, secured access and surveillance.
• State-of-the-art smoke detection and fire suppression systems.
Our
Houston Facility
Katz
Global Media's
other Network Operations Center resides in Houston,
Texas. This network has such state of the art features
as fiber optic networking, OC3 connections, bandwidth
on demand ability, redundant UPS systems, generator
backup, VESPA detection systems, closed circuit monitoring
of all areas and entrances, card key access, 24 hour
guard manned security, redundant a/c systems, and from
6 GIG links with at least 3 diverse fiber carriers and
5 diverse Internet transport providers. (see below).

Uninterruptible
Power System
To
guard against local power failures, our servers utilize
two industrial-grade, three phase Liebert UPS systems.
These act as back-up batteries, maintaining uninterrupted
power in case of surges or power outages. With these
backup systems in place, we can keep our network up
and running indefinitely without relying on external
power.
Force
Filtered Cooling
All
web servers are equipped with a positive pressure filtered-air
system. Four large fans pull filtered air into each
server's protective case and the components within are
cooled by fans which circulate this purified air. This
constant introduction of clean air into the case creates
a positive pressure environment ensuring dust and particles
remain outside of the server.

Global Media's NOC has two Liebert ten ton industrial
air conditioners, which condition our computer rooms
and operations center. Our computer room is kept at
an optimal temperature.
Connected
to Multiple Backbones
We
also host web sites from NOC centers located in Tucson Arizona, Princeton New
Jersey, Miami Florida and San Antonio Texas. These locations have the same features
or better than our main data centers. Our San Antonio Texas service has a Tier
1 network and Dedicated Server Options.
